Our venue fee includes the following:
- All of the furniture (round & rectangular tables, benches or chairs for the ceremony and Chiavari dining chairs, cocktail area) and classic white linens.
- A seating area furnished with couches and a propane fire pit for those who wish to simply gaze at the stars.
- Adirondack chairs for guests to enjoy the scenic views of the river, the mountains, and the stunning sunset.
- Bridal Prep & accommodation for the couple and 6 guests in a beautiful historic regency-style-architecture house (Check in 9 am to get ready, departure 11am next day).
- You will also have access to the property the evening prior to your wedding for decorating and rehearsal purposes.
- At the rehearsal, we will also offer you a bottle of Secco to raise a toast in honor of the future Mr. & Mrs.
- A beautiful waterfront space for your cocktail hour with chairs and tables as well as bar height tables and chairs.
- The setup and dismantling of these areas are included in the service.
- An outdoor wood-burning fireplace, ideal for your “S’mores” station.
- Ample parking is available, providing sufficient space for your guests to bring their RVs, tents, and trailers should they choose to stay overnight following your wedding.
- Two mini cottages that are available for rental.
- The expertise of a professional event coordinator, assisting you throughout the planning process leading to your special day.
- A team of committed staff on your wedding day to guarantee that all aspects proceed seamlessly and that your desires are fulfilled (kitchen staff, servers, bar tenders).
- A wheelchair accessible bathroom is available.
- No bar or guest minimum is required.
- Riverest is suitable for weddings, corporate events, and celebrations of life, providing a versatile space for various occasions.
- Yes, we offer professional catering services with a creative chef who can customize menus for your event.
- The venue includes Chiavari chairs, tables, and an outdoor wood-burning fireplace for gatherings and socializing.
- We can host up to 175 guests for your wedding or event, additional guests are welcome but extra fees will apply.
- You can come at 9am the morning of your day to get ready.
- Ceremonies start at 3pm followed by cocktail hour and dinner around 6pm.
- Riverest is reserved solely for your use throughout the entire day.
- Certainly, we can explore your late-night and bar packages to accommodate your increased guest count; please note that additional charges will be incurred.
- You have the freedom to decorate the venue however you like, just be sure to avoid causing any damage to the property or buildings (no nails or glue, please).
- While you’re welcome to toss fresh or dried flowers, we kindly ask that you refrain from using paper or rice confetti.
- We offer an absolutely stunning 2.3-acre property that boasts views of the L’Orignal marina, the Ottawa River, La Rouge beach, and the majestic Laurentian Mountains. Plus, our lovely outdoor space is perfect for your event. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we have a beautiful marquee wedding tent available that can host up to 175 guests for your ceremony and cocktails, additional guests are welcome but extra fees will apply.
- Riverest will take care of all the food and drinks for your wedding day. Our skilled team will prepare your tasty menu selections, and our expert mixologists will handle all your beverage requirements.
- If you wish to have your own caterer, a fee of 250.00$ will apply, if they use our kitchen facilities, we will charge a minimum of 500.00$

- Riverest is licensed to serve you refreshments throughout your day, and our skilled bartenders are ready to craft a range of drinks tailored to your preferences. Please note that outside alcohol is not allowed on the premises.
- Yes, we provide two mini cottages for rental and ample parking for guests with RVs or trailers.
- Riverest can accommodate a variety of group sizes, with spacious indoor and outdoor areas to suit your needs.
- Yes, the venue is equipped with wheelchair-accessible facilities to ensure all guests feel welcome.
- The bar closes at 1:45 am on Fridays Saturdays & long weekend Sundays, and at 11:45pm Monday through Thursday or a regular non long weekend Sunday.
- Open flames are not allowed on the property, but we do offer a variety of flameless pillar candles and professional fireworks for a fee (unless provided with your package).
- We will host your rehearsal on the evening before your wedding or during the week of your wedding day; the specific day is subject to our schedule of events.
- We have complimentary parking for up to 70 vehicles and ample free parking on the street.
- There are several Airbnb’s in the area as well as a Quality Inn in Hawkesbury (9kms from the Riverest) and Stephanie’s Motel (6kms from the Riverest).
- We offer fans for those hot days and indoor stand heaters for the cooler times, along with outdoor stand heaters and cozy outdoor fireplaces.
- We have ambient speakers installed all around the venue, both inside and outside. Your DJ or live musicians can connect to our system, ensuring that your music fills every corner of Riverest.
- In some of our packages, we include a DJ; however, Riverest mandates that you engage a DJ, band, or sound professional to oversee the audio and visual elements of your special day. Additionally, if you intend to utilize the outdoor ceremony site, your DJ will need to supply speakers and a microphone.
- Pets are indeed part of the family! You are more than welcome to include your pet during the ceremony; however, we kindly ask that you keep them on a leash and ensure that you clean up after them.
- Yes, we do.
- If you wish to secure your date, we require a $2,500 CAD deposit upon signing.
Riverest Conditions
- Pricing is subject to HST and service charge and facility fee.
- $2,500 CAD is due in order to secure the date.
- 50 percent of package is due with signed contract 4 months before the event.
- Remainder of balance is due 14 days before the event.
- Payments are nonrefundable and must be paid within the timelines set.
- On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays of long weekends (Monday being a holiday), ceremony times can start at 3pm or 4pm. Sundays of a non-long weekend, ceremony times are flexible.
- Riverest will not permit personal fireworks or confetti.
- All personal items must be removed from the premises by 11am the following day.
- You may bring your own candy station, chip station or popcorn station.
- No outside alcohol is permitted on the premises of Riverest at anytime.
- Rehearsals will be scheduled for the week of your event based on availability.
- If you decide to go with one of the drink packages, you’ll need to buy enough for all adult guests, covering 100% of the total count.
- Vendor meals can be provided for $50.00 plus tax and venue fee (does not include beverages/bar packages in that pricing).
- Prices are subject to change based on increases in food, beverage, staffing & venue preparation costs provided at Riverest Weddings & Events.
- If who wish to invite guests for after dinner celebrations, the per guest price is $20 plus tax and venue fee (includes late night poutine or pulled pork sandwiches, but does not include bar packages or additional late-night options in that pricing).
- You are responsible for set up and tear down of all your personal décor.
- Riverest can accommodate RV’s or Camper Trailers in our parking lot overnight.
